THE GALLEY

A double stainless sink with pressure hot and cold water and a separate carbon filtered drinking water faucet is flanked by a three-burner propane stove/oven supplied by two 20lb tanks in a cockpit lazarette. Hot water is supplied by a six gallon 12v Isotemp water heater.  An ECH2O -Tec water maker with an output of 8.4 gallons/hour supplies scrupulously clean RO water away from shore. Fresh water is stored in two 70 gallon stainless tanks. An 1100 watt GE microwave offers additional cooking capacity. There’s a dual control freezer and fridge, with both air and seawater cooling. There is ample space for pots and pans under the sink.  Deep drawers for kitchen utensils and supplies are between the stove and the sink.  A custom dinnerware rack hangs from the starboard side just aft of the stove.  Grocery storage is available in louvered-door cabinets above the freezer/fridge and the stove. A trash container is built in under the counter top and teak stairs lead to the cockpit. And for outdoor grilling, there’s a propane Dickinson Sea-B-Que stainless barbeque that attaches to the stern pulpit.
